Title : IMPLEMENTATION OF E-COUNSELING AS A DEVELOPMENT OF RUMAH ASI PROGRAM TOWARDS EMPOWERMENT OF FAMILY IN BREASTFEEDING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AT WONOKROMO SURABAYA

Abstract :

The achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in Wonokromo region in 2018 was 61.75%. This number is still far from the target of achieving exclusive breast milk of 90%. Community participation is needed to improve this achievement. Fostering efforts in increasing community participation are carried out through the construction of Kampung ASI Wonokromo Village. This study aims to analyze the implementation E-Counseling of Rumah ASI on family empowerment and maternal behavior in breastfeeding in the Covid 19 Pandemic Period. The research design used is an experimental quasi one group pre post test design. The population is a family that has a baby under 2 years old, which numbers 210 families. Sampling technique using simple random sampling technique of 138 respondents. The research procedure begins with creation of e counseling then respondents are given community empowerment questionnaires and exclusive breastfeeding behaviors as a pretest. Furthermore, if the counseling is done, the respondent can repeat itself e counseling and observed for 2 months. after completion of observation respondents were given an exclusive breastfeeding behavior questionnaire and family empowerment as a post test. The research instrument uses a community empowerment questionnaire (FES Scale). Data analysis using the Paired T Test with α = 0.05, obtained ρ = 0.01, meaning that there is a significant influence on the Implementation of E-Counseling “Rumah ASI” On Family Empowerment.

Title : ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING NURSE-PATIENT INTERACTION BASED ON THE HUMAN INTERACTION MODEL IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH THE RISK OF PREECLAMSIA

Abstract :

Preeclampsia is one of the most common medical problems during pregnancy and the leading cause of maternal death in the world, especially in developing countries including Indonesia. Early diagnosis by recognizing the signs and symptoms of preeclampsia can prevent complications of preeclampsia. This study was conducted in Surabaya with the consideration that the prevalence of preeclampsia is increasing in this city. This study aimed to analyze the factors affecting nurse-patient interaction based on the human interaction model in Surabaya. This study used a quantitative approach with observational research and was classified as cross-sectional. The sample in this study was pregnant women, with a total of 108 respondents. The independent variables used in this study were age, gravidity, education, knowledge, disease history, access to health facilities and husband's support. Meanwhile, the dependent variable was the nurse-patient interaction. The results of the study were obtained through a questionnaire. This study used a logistic regression test which aimed to see the factors affecting the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that the factors affecting the nurse-patient interaction were education (Sig=0.015, B=3.482), knowledge (Sig=0.000, B=4.255), and health facilities (Sig=0.049, B=2.802). Age, gravidity, education, knowledge and medical history (anamnesis) factors are internal factors that come from the pregnant woman herself, whereas health facilities and husband's support are external factors. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that nurse-patient interaction has an important role in the provision of nursing care to patients. Therefore, it is very important for pregnant women to have education, knowledge and good health facilities so that nurse-patient interactions can run optimally.

Title : Isolation and Identification of Endophytic Fungi Producing of Antioxidant Compound from Azadirachta indica A.juss Based on gen 18s rRNA

Abstract :

Endophytic fungi are microbes living in plant tissues and are currently being explored as an alternative to bioactive compounds because they produce metabolites usable as medicinal raw materials. Therefore, this study aims to isolate and identify endophytic fungi that produce antioxidant compounds from neem (Azadirachta indica A.juss) leaf. The isolation process produced 4 endophytic fungi coded as FDM 1, FDM 2, FDM 3, and FDM 4. Subsequently, the isolates were fermented for 10 days using PDY media, and then extracted using ethyl acetate solvent in a ratio of 1:1. The TLC method detected the antioxidant compounds in the extract, and FDM 2 was observed to contain antioxidant compounds, which was indicated by yellow spots on the stains after spraying with DPPH. Furthermore, the antioxidant activity test showed that FDM 2 has an IC50 value of 54.93 ppm, while the molecular identification results based on the 18s rRNA gene showed that FDM 2 was similar to Lentinus squorosulus with an identity percentage of 99.55%.

Title : COVID-19 could trigger diabetes in healthy individuals and worsen symptoms in pre-diagnosed DM patients

Abstract :

COVID-19 is novel diseases started at the sea food Wuhan market and continue to spread to evolve to be a global pandemic. Our data have shown a significant increase P=**** in sugar level for patients (COV-I-DM) have contracted COVID-19, as compared to the other group of patients (COV-NS) that have shown normal levels of blood sugar. Similar significant results have been seen as we compare their A1C levels, which further support our assumption that COVID-19 can induce diabetes in almost 18% of patients. 80% of Males and females’ patients were in the 50-65 age groups, while only 20% were in the 35-50 years old group. Moreover, significant correlation P=**** has been detected when we compare the sugar level of patients (COV-DM) contracted COVID-19, with their tests before the infection. Their A1C levels have shown similar significant difference before and after the infection, which strongly support our hypothesis that COVID-19 negatively affect endocrine health. Finally, we have not detected any significant correlation between COV-DM patients and smoking criteria. However, we believe that increasing the number of data might detect this kind of correlation. In conclusion, we are in a fair position than many other Middle East countries to react to the pandemic. However, an advanced approach needs to be used with diabetic patients who might hit hard by COVID-19.

Title : Use of cephalic trim cartilages from lower lateral cartilage to elongate short nose

Abstract :

In our study, we used cephalic trim cartilage from LLC uniting strategies to be compelling in amending short nose, with a low occurrence of complications. Preferences of this procedure incorporate extension of the whole nasal tip and ala, which brings about more far reaching and proportioned nasal length. The versatile nasal tip is kept up by sufficiently liberating the holding powers of the LLC while offering enough underlying help.
