Abstract :
This paper analyzes the dynamic of the Coronavirus in Colombia during a period of two years through data on infections, deaths, and vaccinations. Methodologically, it is a cross-sectional study that observes different data on a given population obtained from the web portals of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection; and the National Institute of Health, the information is complemented with documents, regulations and data consulted in other documentary media and the national press. It is concluded that there were four peaks with different dynamics with high numbers of infected and deceased. The biosecurity measures implemented minimized the effects of the pandemic, but social indiscipline during holidays and vacations triggered the cases. Finally, mass vaccination made it possible to control the high numbers of people infected and killed by Covid-19 and gradually return to normality.
