Title : The problem of psychological conflicts in inclusive rehabilitation institutions and ways to solve them

Abstract :

The article examines the features of the application of various technologies for the prevention and resolution of psychological conflicts in inclusive rehabilitation institutions. The article considers the general features of conflicts that may arise during the rehabilitation process, taking into account the nosologies of patients, gender differences of persons in need of social, medical and psychological rehabilitation. The article actualizes the issue of psychological conflicts in rehabilitation institutions as this problem is not clarified features of internal personal and interpersonal conflicts in the rehabilitation process. The urgency of gender- based violence in the process of rehabilitation and its relationship with sexual violence, the problem of which is increasingly discussed in all spheres of society, are considered. Recommendations for the prevention and resolution of gender conflicts in the rehabilitation process are offered. The problems of the emergence and resolution of religious conflicts that may arise due to ignoring the religious needs of persons undergoing rehabilitation have been studied. The team of authors proposed to build models of conflict resolution in the rehabilitation process through mediation, prevention and treatment of compulsive disorders and diseases and the prospects of cognitive and gestalt psychology in the field of conflict resolution in rehabilitation institutions. The text analyzes the Japanese national experience in resolving conflicts within enterprises and extrapolates it to the sphere of conflicts that may arise in the rehabilitation process in specialized institutions.

Title : COMPLICATIONS AND NEGATIVE EFFECTS AFTER HEMORRHOIDECTOMY DONE BY LEGASURE

Abstract :

One hundred patients with hemorrhoids were collected, which were removed by Ligasure, and the purpose of the research was to know the complications that this method generates after the surgery. The process is reduced by about half, and a final definition or a complete description of the subject has been reached as follows, and since the usage of the Ligasure technique results in significantly less immediate postoperative pain after hemorrhoidectomy without any adverse effect on postoperative complications, recovery, and incontinence-rate, this technique is superior in terms of patient tolerance. Moderate to severe pain after surgery remains a problem in outpatient surgery. It causes patient flow problems and delays patient discharge and is one of the main reasons for hospital readmission and thus an adequate quality indicator for these units. The use of in-house invasive analgesic techniques, in all their regimens, can be effective in managing postoperative pain in these surgical procedures and allow for inclusion in outpatient surgery programs. Hemorrhoidal tissue comprises a group of structures (veins, arteries, and muscle fibers) located within the anus that form hemorrhoids. Its function is to fill the anal canal and help maintain urinary incontinence. Hemorrhoids are a normal part of our bodies. When these structures become inflamed, crowded, or displaced from their anatomical location, hemorrhoids, or hemorrhoidal disease, occur.

Title : Histologic and Histomorphometric Evaluation of Bone Healing Following Growth Factor Enhanced Matrix (GEM 21S) in Rabbit Calvaria

Abstract :

This study explored the process of bone regeneration of growth factor enhanced matrix (GEM21s) in rabbit calvaria compared to beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP). Twelve rabbits weighing between 3.500 - 4.000 g were subjected to three standard 8 mm in diameter defects at the parietal bone. The 36 defects in the 12 rabbits were categorized into 3 groups (each of 12 defects). Group 1: defects have been left unfilled with any substitute. Group II: defects were packed with β-TCP. Group III: defects were filled with GEM 21S. After 3 weeks, 6 rabbits (18 defects 6 from each group) were sacrificed, and the rest of the rabbits will be sacrificed at 6 weeks. The samples were prepared for histologic and histomorphometric analysis. Results of the present work have revealed that group II and Group III showed bone formation at both 3, and 6 weeks with a significant new bone formation in Group III (GEM21S) in comparison to group II, P< 0.001. Both groups showed a fast rise in the formation of new bones from 3 weeks to 6 weeks in comparison to group I. Immunohistochemical analysis showed higher COX-2 expression in the control group than group II, whereas, minimal expression was observed in GEM 21s treated defects. GEM21s demonstrated excellent biocompatibility and declared additional bone growth following a phase of healing of 6 weeks and it has the superior potential of bone reconstruction compared to β-TCP alone.

Title : Molecular evaluation of BK and MC human polyomavirus as promising Prostate cancer markers in Moroccan population.

Abstract :

Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the leading causes of cancer deaths in men worldwide. Current evidence of an oncogenic role has emerged for Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) and BK human polyomavirus (BKPyV). The aim of our study was to describe the molecular evaluation of BKPyV and MCPyV as promising PCa markers and to investigate their correlation with clinical features of the tumor in Moroccan population. Fresh prostate biopsy tissue specimens were from 50 patients with confirmed PCa. The DNA extraction was performed by Invitrogen Genomic DNA Mini Extraction Kit The quality of DNA was checked using Nano drops test. BKPyV and MCPyV genomes were molecularly characterized using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) methods. The PCR products were subjected to the gel electrophoresis. BKPyV and MCPyV were detected with a prevalence of 24% (12/50) and 0% (0/50) prostate tissue specimens, respectively. PCa Gleason scores 7 was the most cancer grades identified with the presence of BKPyV (p<0.05). We suggest that BKPyV and MCPyV confers a risk for PCa, and patients with Gleason scores 7 are at a greatly increased risk in Moroccan population.

Title : The Value of Ultrasound versus Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Evaluation of Triangular Fibrocartilage Injury: A Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract :

In this study, we aimed to investigate the role of ultrasound (US) versus magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in evaluation of triangular fibrocartilage injury. The present case-control study recruited 30 participants who were referred to the Radiodiagnosis department of Ain Shams University hospitals for ulnar side pain. Patients were included regardless of their age and gender. Eligible patients were categorized according to their MRI findings into control (negative MRI findings) and case (positive MRI findings) groups. The study included 15 cases and 15 age- and sex-matched controls. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and accuracy of US in detection of tear diagnosed by MRI was 75%, 90.9%, 75%, 90.9% and 86.6% respectively. Likewise, the sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV and accuracy of US in detection of degeneration diagnosed by MRI was 80%, 95%, 88.9%, 90.4% and 90% respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV and accuracy of US in detection of tenosynovitis diagnosed by MRI was 50%, 82.1%, 17%, 76.4% and 95.8% respectively. The overall sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV and accuracy of US in detection of any lesion (tear/degeneration) diagnosed by MRI was 73.3%, 86.7%, 84.6%, 76.4% and 80% respectively. In conclusion, US is a cost-saving, available, and easy-to-use modality that can be greatly beneficial in differentiating TFCC injuries. The present study showed that the US achieved good agreement with MRI findings, and it yielded an acceptable diagnostic accuracy in detection of TFCC injuries.
